Join Harris Center ecologists Phil Brown and Brett Amy Thelen to hike the 1.9-mile Hiroshi Loop Trail, which winds gently through field and forest and along Nubanusit Brook to gorgeous views of Dinsmore Pond. As we go, we’ll take our time to search for signs of winter wildlife and to explore other facets of this site’s unique natural and human history. Dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes (or borrow winter gear from us).

9:30 a.m. to noon at the Hiroshi Loop Trail in Peterborough, which is located on the east side of Route 137, 2.1 miles north of its junction with Route 101. Space is limited, and registration is full. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Phil.
