Join Denny Wheeler and Brian Bishoff for an easygoing, 2-mile roundtrip walk on brand-new trails at the Katie Metzger Town Forest in Fitzwilliam. Together, we’ll stroll through gently rolling terrain to a pretty pond and surrounding woodlands. Dress for the weather, bring water and a snack, and come prepared with spikes or snowshoes.

Meet at 1 p.m. at the Route 119 pulloff with the Katie Metzger Town Forest sign in Fitzwilliam, about 3 miles west of the village. If you’re coming from the west, this location is 4 miles east of Route 32, just past the junction with Old Troy Road. Back by 3 p.m.
