Join naturalist Susie Spikol for a morning meadow adventure in search of crickets, leafhoppers, butterflies, and grasshoppers, to name just a few. Learn how to use a sweep net, hold a caterpillar, and stare into the million eyes of a grasshopper. A great way for families with elementary-age children to learn about the wild world of arthropods!

10 to 11 a.m. at Beech Hill in Dublin. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, please contact Susie.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Beech Hill-Dublin Watershed Association, and the Dublin Public Library.
