Are you a teen or tween with an interest in birds and birding? Join a growing movement of young adults who are learning to recognize birds and their calls while building community with other young birders as part of the Kestrels Young Birders Club. In December, we’ll survey for birds as part of the Christmas Bird Count — the largest and longest-running community science project in the world. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your skills, connect with other wildlife fans, and contribute to community science! For students in grades 5 through 12.

9 to 11 a.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is required.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.

Be sure to check out these related events: the Great Backyard Bird Count on February 15 and a Snowy Owl Search at Plum Island on March 8.
