If you love monarch butterflies and want to help scientists find out more about these remarkable insects, here’s your chance! Join a team of Harris Center naturalists at a local milkweed patch, where we’ll count monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies. If you enjoy treasure hunts and have a sharp eye, this morning of community science is for you.
Rain date: August 1. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an interested family member. All others can attend without parental supervision.
9 to 10 a.m. in Peterborough. Space is limited, and registration is required. The exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, contact Susie Spikol.
