Calling all kids ages 6 through 18 who care about wildlife! Try your hand at field research, develop your naturalist skills, and do something to help the wild animals of our world with Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol. Together, we’ll search the Harris Center woods for red-backed salamanders and count how many we find as part of a long-term study of this common woodland species. Children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an interested family member. All others can attend without parental supervision.

4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is required.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.
