Stoddard boasts thousands of acres of protected land, offering a near-wilderness experience close to home. Join avid hikers Richard Doherty (he/him) and Calvin Anderson (he/him) for a 3- to 4-mile loop hike to Pioneer Lake and Stoddard Rocks. Our route will follow old roads with a few steeper sections and about 650 feet of elevation gain. With diverse plant and wildlife habitats — and plenty of good conversation — there’s much to enjoy along the way. Bring lunch, dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter hiking conditions with spikes or snowshoes (or borrow winter gear from us). This hike is specifically for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Stoddard. Exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is required.
