Mushrooms in the winter? Why, yes! Come discover which fungi are out and about during the cold months on this field trip with mushroom maven and Harris Center naturalist John Benjamin. We’ll search for polypores, slime molds, and shelf fungi, and get into likin’ lichen.

10 to 11 a.m. at the Harris Center. Bring snowshoes or ice traction, or contact us in advance to borrow some from us.

Space is limited, and registration is required. To register, please fill out this online form. For more information or to borrow snowshoes or ice traction, please contact Susie Spikol.
