Mushrooms in the winter? Why, yes! Come discover which fungi are out and about during the cold months on this field trip with mushroom maven and Harris Center naturalist John Benjamin. We’ll search for polypores, slime molds, and shelf fungi, and get into likin’ lichen.

10 to 11 a.m. at the Harris Center. Bring snowshoes or ice traction, or contact us in advance to borrow some from us.

Space is limited, and registration is required. To register, please fill out this online form. For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular event or to borrow snowshoes or ice traction, please contact Susie Spikol.
