Join Matthew Allen and Phil Brown for a relaxed hike at the Sargent Camp, where we’ll follow the Peninsula Loop Trail around beautiful Halfmoon Pond and the Nubanusit Trail through forest and meadow. Expect 3 to 4 miles roundtrip on well-maintained, gently rolling trails with minimal elevation gain. Bring a snack and plenty of water, dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the parking area on Sargent Camp Road, off Windy Row in Hancock. Back by 1 p.m. Space is limited, and registration is required.
