Join Mike Gagnon and Matt Tarr of UNH Extension for a relaxed ramble focused on wetland shrub identification. Together, we’ll examine branching patterns, leaf shape and structure, early fall fruit, and how each species functions as habitat for wildlife.

4 to 6 p.m. at the Willard Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in Antrim. Come prepared for ticks and other biting insects, and for some walking on uneven ground. This program is now full. To be added to the waiting list, please contact Miles Stahmann.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, please contact Mike.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and UNH Cooperative Extension.
