Join veteran wildlife biologist Eric Orff as he celebrates the publication of his first book, What’s Wild, which features more than four dozen stories from his five-decade career as a wildlife biologist in New Hampshire. Filled with adventurous tales, like saving mother bats from poison and riding a ten-point whitetail buck, What’s Wild showcases Eric’s trademark humor and passion for conservation.

7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Eric Masterson.

Eric Orff has wanted to be a forest ranger ever since he can remember. He graduated from college with a degree in Wildlife Management and launched his dream career as a “forest ranger who works with animals” in 1976. As a certified wildlife biologist, he spent over 31 years with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and another 15 years with the National Wildlife Federation. A strong voice for conservation who blends humor, compassion, and science, Eric has spent decades as a popular writer, speaker, and social media personality.
