Join Harris Center teacher-naturalist John Benjamin for a day of wilderness survival skills. We’ll hike to the summit of Mount Skatutakee and practice shelter building and safe fire making. We’ll also track wild animals, play games in the woods, brew tea from wild edibles, and more! Come prepared to spend the day outdoors — bring warm layers, boots, a backpack, water, and a sack lunch. For kids in grades 5 through 8.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harris Center. This program will follow the Harris Center’s COVID-19 outing guidelines. A signed release form is required for each participant. Group size is limited to 8 participants, and registration is required.

Cost: $45  per participant for Harris Center supporters / $65 all others

UPDATE: This camp is now full. To be added to the waiting list, please call the Harris Center at (603) 525-3394.
