We currently coordinate amphibian crossing efforts (yellow salamanders on the map) in Keene, Nelson, Peterborough, Swanzey, Westmoreland, and Winchester, NH. There are also many potential crossing sites (green frogs) that require further investigation.

Open our interactive map for more information on specific sites, or click on the photos below for downloadable maps, directions, parking information, and other details for each of our well-established crossings.

Note: In order to help people find sites that are as close to home as possible and in hopes of helping volunteers in other parts of the state connect with one another, the interactive map does include crossing sites that have been reported to us from throughout New Hampshire. However, the Harris Center only actively coordinates volunteer efforts — and can only accept amphibian count data — from sites in the Monadnock Region.
