Tag along with UNH extension forester Mike Gagnon on a relaxed spring tree ID walk. Together, we’ll explore branching patterns, buds, and the shapes of newly-emerged leaves, and learn how each species functions as habitat for wildlife. Bring binoculars for seeing leaves in the treetops (or borrow a pair from us) and come prepared for biting insects.

4 to 6 p.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is required.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Karen Seaver.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and UNH Cooperative Extension.
