From one-time donors and longstanding supporters to those who give their time through volunteering, it takes all of us to achieve the Harris Center’s mission of connecting people to the natural world. We want to shine a spotlight on one type of support in particular — donations from our Business Partners — which enables us to continue the environmental education work we do in the Monadnock Region. Two such businesses have recently made significant contributions: Santander Consumer USA and M&T Bank.

Santander Consumer USA logoEarlier this year, the Harris Center received a surprise $25,000 donation from Santander Consumer USA. The donation was made in honor of Harris Center supporter Bill Rainer’s retirement from chairing Santander’s board, a position he had held since July 2016. We are so appreciative of Bill’s son Adam for suggesting the Harris Center as a non-profit to consider, and we are delighted that Santander selected us for the honor.

M&T Bank logoWe are also incredibly grateful to be receiving $50,000 over a two-year period from M&T Bank’s Amplify Fund. This donation will help ensure that our environmental education programs are available to all.

Our Business Partners

A host of local businesses support our environmental education work, from our “Field Trip Partners” who make a donation of $500, all the way up to our “District Partners,” who give $10,000 or more. You can check them all out on our Business Partners page.

If you’re interested in supporting the Harris Center through a Business Partnership, you can learn more about the levels and their benefits — such as use of the Harris Center’s Babbitt Room for events — here.
