Join Hancock writer Eric Aldrich and Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire Director JerriAnne Boggis for a 1.75-mile roundtrip hike to Jack’s Pond, where we'll learn about Jack — a once-enslaved African who gained his freedom — the families he was connected with, and how Black history, so long in the shadows, is now coming to light.
Sargent Camp Hike
Join Matthew Allen and Jeremy Wilson for a moderately strenuous hike of up to four miles around the Sargent Camp’s Lower Ledges, Boulder, and Washburn Trails, with great views of a heron rookery and beaver dam.

Following in the Footsteps of John Kulish: Bald Mountain & Willard Pond
Join avid hikers Stan Smith and Vic Starzynski for a moderately strenuous, 4-mile trek to Bald Mountain and its southern summit. This hike includes an elevation gain of 900 feet and traverses land loved by John Kulish during his search for bobcats decades ago.
