Have you ever wondered if you can identify a tree by its bark alone? Join Michael Wojtech, author of Bark: A Field Guide to Trees of the Northeast, for this bark-inspired field trip, where we’ll explore bark patterns and characteristics for some of our more common New Hampshire trees. Dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes, or borrow them from us.

10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is full.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, or to borrow snowshoes or spikes, contact Susie Spikol.
