Join Dee Denehy (she, her), Richard Doherty (he, him), and Hunter Kirschner (he, him) for an LGBTQ+ paddle on Nubanusit Lake. Together, we’ll explore a bald eagle nesting area and look for loons, mergansers, and other wildlife. After the paddle, we’ll have access to a private area for swimming, relaxing, and fostering community. All levels of paddling experience are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a snack, your own canoe or kayak, and a PFD for each person in your boat. If you need to borrow a canoe or kayak, paddles, or a PFD, please let us know when you register.

2 to 5 p.m. on Nubanusit Lake in Hancock. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration.

Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, please contact Susie Spikol.
