- This event has passed.
Get ready for the International Monarch Monitoring Blitz by joining Harris Center ecologist Brett Amy Thelen to survey for monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies in a Harris Center-conserved milkweed patch. Our data will contribute to the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project, a community science initiative aimed at understanding and protecting this iconic insect throughout North America. No experience necessary! Come prepared for sun, ticks, and other biting insects.
10:30 a.m. to noon in Peterborough. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Rain date: August 1. Space is limited, and registration is required.
For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, contact Brett.
