Join Matt Patterson, illustrator of the award-winning books The Book of Turtles and Of Time and Turtles, as he shares his knowledge of, and passion for, this ancient tribe of creatures. Together, we’ll search shorelines, sandpits, and wetland edges for nests, basking sites, and other turtle finds on this slow meander through prime turtle habitat. Perfect for elementary school-aged children and their families.

4 to 5 p.m. at MacDowell Lake in Peterborough. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is required.
