Have you seen a bobcat this winter? UNH wants to know! Researchers from UNH and the New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game are teaming up on a four-year statewide study of bobcat abundance (how many bobcats do we have in New Hampshire?) and distribution (where do they live?).

Last winter, biologists tagged and radio-tracked 12 bobcats right here in the Monadnock Region. This season, they’ll be taking a closer look at southeast New Hampshire, but your Monadnock Region bobcat sightings are still an important piece of the research puzzle.
